Reviews for Red Flame Restaurant
Review highlights
Based on 233 reviewsRed Flame Restaurant is widely recognized for its flavorful and well-prepared steak dishes, with rib eye and sirloin frequently highlighted as top choices. The menu offers a diverse selection, including surprisingly good ramen and individual hotpot servings, appealing to a variety of tastes. Customers appreciate the reasonable pricing and the option to customize sauces. Service quality tends to be more efficient during lunch hours, while dinner and weekend visits may experience slower service due to crowding. The restaurant maintains a casual ambiance and is noted for complimentary dipping sauces and unique beverage options like boba drinks. However, parking can be challenging because of the limited lot space adjacent to nearby businesses. Overall, Red Flame is favored for its food quality and value despite minor service and parking inconveniences.
This is the spot, Service it’s very good at lunch. Dinner service is a little slow as it can get crowded as on weekends. There is parking. It’s a small lot and hit or miss as it’s right next to Sunbright Tea. Highly recommend the steak. The ramen is surprisingly very good as well.
The quality of the steak is really good for the reasonable price. The flavor is really tasty you can taste the natural flavors without sauce over powering it, they do give you sauce on the side if you choose to use it. I went on a saturday the service was good no long waits. I had ordered the top sirloin with rice and fries, my date had rib eye which they enjoyed also.
We had the rib eye and let’s say it’s pretty good
Oh-em-gee! I want one in Rhode Island, please! This place is bomb. Menu, flavor, price, ambience, service can be a tad faster but no one is perfect.I mean, whoa! Individual hotpot servings starting at 15.95 (sans tax), amazing variety, boba drinks, appetizers, no charge on dipping sauces on your table......can't get any better than that.Love this concept. We were a party of four and we ordered: Seafood hotpot (2), Korean Kimchi hotpot, and Japanese miso hotpot. Dared to order appetizers of fried goden fishball and fried fish tofu. Yummy.I left with half of my own hotpot order to take home. You can also order one and share.I am at a loss for words, I really love it. Only a true Asian food and hotpot foodie can appreciate this spot.I need to win the lottery!
First time at this location. Been at their first location in Garden Grove and then to it's fountain valley branch when they moved. The food is great. Make sure you get their fishball appetizer while you wait for your order. Ribeye steak on a hot stone is a must to try too. All of their hotpots are good you can't go wrong whichever you choose. The parking is bit hard as the lot is small and is also shared by different businesses so make sure one of your friends get off from the car and get a table while you wait for a parking spot.
Extraordinary food! The steak was delicious, perfectly cooked at medium rare and the butter just put it over the top! Over all for dinner for 5, including drinks was less than 150.
Great alternative to Boiling Point and much more affordable too. 15.99 vs. 25 per soup. You can also order additional sides like sliced beef for 5 and the side is bigger than Boiling Point’s side. There are plenty of seats. The only catch is that the parking gets packed fast and they don’t have a fancy numbering system but the service is fast and again, plenty of seats. The restaurant is very modern and clean. So far, I had the House style and the Thai style soups. I had spice level 4 and I was able to manage it. Lots of broth refills and water refills without having to ask. I wouldn’t say they are better than Boiling Point because their flavors are definitely different. However, they are a mor affordable alternative that won’t disappoint.
Food was great!! But the service was horrible.. we didn't get our drinks until after we were done eating, but the server did bring water...but it kinda killed it not having our drinks we wanted at hand. We asked 3 times..but by the time we finished it was too late. They didn't apologize or at least give us a small discount. Mayday I should have complained.
